My workplace has satellite radio, and they have a set of stations that they alternate between each day. So every day I go in is a bit of a crap-shoot; I could spend the day listening to bad country, bad current music with occasionally good songs (sadly, there's more Bruno Mars than 3 Doors Down on these stations), or a station that plays a lot of the good stuff. One of these stations specializes in "mellow songs", and over the past month, on the days when it's been tuned to that station, I've found a number of great songs that I wanted to share with you. They just really... touch you, I don't know how else to put it. I hope you enjoy them. D

I'm a huge fan of the video game review series Zero Punctuation by Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw. A few weeks ago he did a review of the new game Dead Island (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/4694-Dead-Island), and started the video off with a comment that really resonated with me.
